So there we are, mere weeks after our April newsletter, soaking up the sun, and then...BAM!  It's November!

And we've so much to fill you in on, so very much indeed, let's not waste time...wait, let's waste just a little time - everyone have a good summer?  Great.  We did too.  OK, NOW then:

Ta-run-ta-ra:  Oh No, Domino! is out and about, children! Many fine establishments, both online and in what we in the ad-biz call brick-and-mortar stores, will carry it.  Can't wait?  The link above brings you right to our ordering page.

Right here is where you can find the premier review:  Check out the third review down under Reviewer's Choice (oops, did we let that slip?  We're so proud!) at the Midwest Book Review's Children's Bookwatch, November 2007

Looking for where else you'll be able to find it? Try any of these fine outlets:

1) For those in the general Metuchen/Edison area, please STOP IN AT The Raconteur, 431 Main Street in Metuchen, and ask Alex or whomever else is on for your copy.  Because when you support an independent store such as The Raconteur you ARE supporting us, and this is one of the only stores in the area where you can find it.  In a newsflash, we'll be appearing there this very Saturday, December 1st, at 2:00 PM, so come on in, say hi, do your holiday shopping, and sing and read with us!

2) You will be able to find it in select Barnes & Nobles, although you'll be able to order it from any of them.  You can also get it from BN.com if you're into the online experience.

3) Are you a library (or a public librarian for that matter)?  Try the AV Cafe - they have it already, but soon, JWPepper will have it, as will BWI, & Follett (school libraries or librarians only).

Hey, wanna read a brand new article on us and Kimi's brand new offering?  We knew you would! Check out Author hopes you'll say, 'Oh yes' to 'Oh No, Domino!'

Along those lines, for those who have never seen Kim's art up close and personal like, this is your last chance to get to Kim's most recent exhibit, at the Highland Park Public Library, in New Jersey!  Kim is exhibiting the original artwork from OH NO, DOMINO! Her art has been up all month and will be on exhibit until next Tuesday the 5th so do check it out if you can.

The musical surprises are huge.  Danny is working on several albums at once and much of it will surprise many of you.  Along the lines of keeping you in the dark, we'll update you next time.

Also, for those of you who have not yet acquired your copy of Listen UP!, you can do it at our ordering page.  if you're gun shy and need to test it out first, you can go to any Barnes & Noble nationwide and pull it up on their listening posts!  that's right babies, we're going national!  Oh yeh, while you're there listening, why not order a copy?

We're making a bunch of new appearances- the page has been updated, and more updates will be coming.

And now, what you've been waiting for: Family news.

Our clan continues to excel, knock on wood. Beginning with our eldest son (and middle child), Joshua just made honor roll.  He is now in eighth grade and pretty darn ready for high school, if you ask him.  If you ask us, however...anyway, he continues with his seemingly unending streak of coolness...approximately 684 straight weeks by our count!

Maxx seems to have fooled most people who live outside this house into believing he is not everything we have been assuring you for the past five years that he is.  Your options are to trust us, or them.  However:  We've never lied to you, and you don't even know who they are.  Think about that.

Rachelle is involved in playing cello in the orchestra, trying out the high school track team for size (so far it fits but it's only been three days...) - and making the grade. No boys that Danny needs to be worried about yet, as far as he knows.

Bowling:  We're BACK baby!  And the good news:  We are all the way up in the stratosphere resting comfortably in third place! Huzzah!  Bad news: Four teams.

Site of the month: Greater Good Science Center is all about applying science - and social science - to the art of raising kids and families. Do we endorse it?  We can neither endorse nor detract, but it is interesting, and looks fun too.  Parents only.

Rock and roll closer:  You know, although Janis Joplin made this line famous, it was actually Kris Kristofferson who first wrote, in his timeless Me and Bobby McGee, "Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose."  Don't let's lose it, shall we?

love and peace, and happy holidays!

- The Adlerman Family

PS: You're on this list because you asked to be, whether in writing, verbally, subconsciously, or subliminally.  If you wish to be taken off, we're happy to accomodate at no additional charge, but you might regret it later (that is NOT a threat...)
