We have been asked so many times in the past about concerts: Would we put a concert on? What format? What style of music would we play? What occasions are appropriate?
First of all, almost all occasions are appropriate for music, especially if there is celebration involved. As to formats, we perform acoustically (either Danny solo OR with Jim Babjak ), AND as a full electric band complete with live drums and bass - a genuine rock and roll concert for kids. We have played in schools, at festivals, pizza parties, theatres - the sky is the limit (actually, the sky IS the limit, too - we wouldn't play while parachuting)!
What sort of music is it? Well, it's a safe bet you'll hear selections from ONE SIZE FITS ALL, as well as music from our upcoming album, and we throw a few family friendly rock and roll songs into the mix that not only will kids recognize, but so will the adults! When we play live, one size really
DOES fit all! In schools it also gives us the chance to tie in literacy with music because of the rhythm, rhyme, and meter; schools have also booked us in to entertain students not only for events such as Read Across America, but also for winter or spring concerts to send kids home for a break with a bang.
